Round 10 of the South West Cyclocross League heads to Perranporth Airfield. Cyclocross is winter racing on a lapped off-road course, roughly 2.5km to 3.5km long, taking in grass, mud and whatever else the weather throws at it — think a steeplechase on modified road bikes. It's a discipline known for its friendly, noisy, supportive atmosphere, and you'll almost certainly go home fitter and muddier than you arrived.
