Round 8 of the South West Cyclo-Cross League heads to Exeter Bike Park. Cyclo-cross races take place on a lapped course of around 2.5 to 3.5km over hill and dale — think grass, mud and plenty of it — on modified road bikes, and it's a winter discipline known for its exceptional atmosphere as much as the racing. It's a friendly, volunteer-run league, so expect a welcome from riders and helpers alike, and be ready to get muddy.
